Kennesaw State University was chartered in 1963 by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (USG). KSU is now the third largest public university in the state of Georgia and one of the top 50 largest universities in the United States. The university offers more than 150 undergraduate and graduate degrees with a growing doctoral degree program. In 2015, Kennesaw State University and Southern Polytechnic State University merged, and as a result, the former SPSU campus became KSU's second campus in Marietta, Ga."
